PASSAIC COUNTY SNAP BENEFITS RESOURCE GUIDE

Notice

New Jersey was notified by the federal government that if the shutdown continues, November 2025 Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) benefits may not be available on time.

It is unclear if SNAP benefits loaded on your Families First EBT card prior to October 31, 2025 will be able to be used after November 1, 2025. Work First New Jersey (WFNJ) benefits should be available on time.

2025-2026 School Meals & Summer EBT Program

NJ expanded income eligibility for free school meals. Parents and guardians can complete the 2025-2026 School Meals and Summer EBT Application and return it to their child’s school. Children who qualify for free meals, which can save $1,200 on average per year in grocery costs. Learn more at https://tinyurl.com/nmwnew.

The school district does not share personal information from the application with the state.

Mobile Food Pantry:

The Passaic County Mobile Pantry supports Passaic County Residents in all 16 municipalities who need food and/or application support in order to increase self-sufficiency and decrease food insecurity. Find the Mobile Pantry location and make reservations at https://www.cumac.org/mobile-pantry.
